The " Hidden " Foods in MUAR under RM 30



Muar is a "Delicacies Paradise". Although I am living here 21 years, I also haven't taste all of the food in Muar. There are a lot of famous food in Muar, such as: Asam Fish, Lok Lok, Wantan Mee, Otak-otak and so on. Now, I have tried my best to show you all some of the hidden food are really amazing ! <3


1. Restaurant He Tian




It is a Asam Fish "亚参鱼" restaurant named He Tian. Althought, It was not famous enough to compare with other "老招牌" Asam Fish restaurant, but their food are really taste nice. The most important their price are really AFFORDABLE and WORTH it. Other shop are so expensive.
They are selling Asam Fish, fried seafood and something like home-cook meal. I really recommend a lot of my friends and cousin. They also gave me a lot of good review.

2. Muar Bakariah Otah






Otak-Otak are represent Muar. Every people coming muar for otak-otak. Therefore, there are a lot of otak shop in the city. Why I am choosing this otak shop? It is because their otak are really taste juicy and "多肉". Although their shop is not much to look, but all of my cousins support their shop. We are loyalty customer to this shop. These few years, I am keep finding others brand otak, BUT no one win my heart at all. I'm not braggart, I recommend my friends from other state, they also love this otak-otak so much, everytime asked me take away for them. Must Try this otak-otak ! I swear ... " Belum Try Belum Tau, Sekali Try Hari Hari Mau".

3. Hock Kee Snack



A "DimSum" shop nearby Bentayan Hawker Centre. This shop is not easy to catch people attention, it is because the location is not so well. A lot of people having their breakfast in their shop everyday. During weekend, people have to queue up for their breakfast especially most of the old people prefer having breakfast here. Furthermore, a lot of people come this shop for their "Gai Wo Bao" and of course this is one of their famous dimsum in this shop.

4. Ning Yan Restaurant


It is a hawker centre in the morning and a cook fried restaurant. There are have few stall in the morning, such as: chicken rice stall, roti canai stall, meehunkuih stall and mixed pork soup stall. Now i want to suggest you all eat mixed pork soup, it is really nice and price are affordable.

5. Hainanese Seafood Restaurant


It is a Seafood Restaurant, they are very famous in Seafood. Although there is a wild part in Jalan Ismail, but still a lot of travellers went there and sometimes they can can wait for the food served around 1hour.
