Besides the chicken rice shops and stalls we shared with you on the previous post. These other 5 foods that you can try out in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

1. Local Deli (Penang Food)

（可利槟城风味）

This shop is famously know for its Penang's foods which you don't need to travel up to the city itself to have a taste of its local cuisines.

One of the well know dishes of the restaurant is the Penang's Prawn Noodle (槟城虾面). The broth was made by frying the prawn shells that add a unique prawn aroma to the broth which make it the cuisine of the locals. A sauce specially made for the dish can be added to increase the spiciness for those whose who crave a hot punch to the tongue.

The noodle such as Mihun(米粉), KuaiTiaw(果条), and HuangMian(黄面) for the dish can be mix and match based on your likings. Other ingredients like eggs, fish  , small dried prawns are added to the dish to satisfy your taste and stomach with an affordable price of only RM7.90!!

2. Ah Chong's Restaurant

A.K.A （阿忠面线）

This restaurant is one of the places to go to satisfy your hunger without having to spend a lot of money. The restaurant is famously know for its Noodles(面线) and often visited by students in the nearby Universities.

The restaurant is operated by the owner's family members themselves and has been inheriting the recipe of the dish from generation to generation. 

The dish that you must try when visiting this restaurant is the Soup Noodle(清汤面线). The broth of the dish is made by slow boiling the stew with pork bones and meat to brings out the sweetness of the broth. The dish is added with other ingredients such as meat slices, meat or fish balls and other steamboat ingredients(火锅料理) for only RM7.00!!

Besides that, if you tends to eat a lot. There are other selection of add-ons and side dishes that can fill up that stomach of yours with a very affordable prices.

3. Bluemoon Café

The café is located in quite a remote and hidden area and mostly hard to find by non-locals. The café can be found by acquiring the direction from the locals or universities students as they are the majority of the café's visitors. The café is well-known for its Pizzas where all of them are handmade and cheap.

One of the pizza that you should try during your visit to the café is the Hawaiian Pizza. The pizza contain chicken, pineapple cubes, and Mozzarella cheese. As the menu is written “student fast food”, so the price of the pizza is affordable for students which only costs RM10!!

If you are not satisfy with only one pizza, there are a lot more of selection for you to choose in the menu. Besides that, you can change the portion size from "normal" to "large" is you think that the normal size is not enough for you with only an additional RM5.

4. Panjang Burger

This food truck burger stand received a lot of visitor everyday but it is located a small distance away from the city centre of Nilai. The burger stand operates near the industrial area in Nilai 3 where most of the visitors are the residents nearby. What makes this burger stand so special is the simple yet delicious burger with cheaper price than it competitors nearby. 

The burger that you can try is the Beef Special Burger. The burger is sandwiched together with a beef patty, an egg, a handful of vegetables and a lot of sauces. The beef patty is stir fried and smeared with the beef juice from the patty to increase the flavour. This delicious burger which costs only RM3.80!!

If you want something more than a beef burger, you can always try the other selections or come out with your own so the owner can customize for you.

5. Desa Palma Tau Fu Fa Stand

豆腐花档

This Tau Fu Fa(豆腐花) stand located just outside INTI International University is a good way to satisfy your crave for dessert after you meal. The stand only operates at night and mostly visited by the universities students. 

The dessert that you should try is the Tau Fu Fa with melted white sugar or black sugar. The Tau Fu Fa is made by grinding the soybean to get the soy milk and add condensation powder. The Tau Fu Fa is good for the skin and tasted very smooth with the sweetness coming from the melted white sugar or black sugar. The price for a bowl of Tau Fu Fa is only RM1.50!!
