This chicken rice stall is located in nearby INTI University in Nilai and had served countless of hungry students and residences for years. Originally operating only one stall in Nilai, the owner is now operating the second outlet in Nilai.

The chicken rice offered a pretty decent size and flavour that only costs RM4.80!! What can you complaint for that cheap price. But there is more, you will also get a free soup for any food ordered without extra charge. The chicken rice is yellow in colour as it is cooked using turmeric which gave its is distinctive aroma and taste. The chicken is smoked and dripped with sweet sauce which gave a nice sweetness to the savoury chicken.

2. NASI AYAM HAINAN KAK LINA

This stall can be found during the night market in Nilai at Taman Semarak(Tuesday) and Desa Cempaka(Friday). Customers will not miss out the stall as it is one of the largest night market stall in town.

This night market stall is famous for its extra large chicken rice that only cost RM6.00!! What makes this stall special is not the price but the portion of food they offered which can be eaten by two person. The chicken is smoked to give it a smoky savoury flavour and smear with a special broth that combines the chicken saltiness and the broth sweetness together with the fried vegetables to create a flavour perfection. The meal is eaten together with the sauce and soup that are given for FREE

Not enough? Then upgrade to the RM10.00 portion to get an even larger meal with almost 1/4 of a chicken and 2 bowls of rice.

3. NASI KANDAR LAWOOD

This restaurant is owned by an Malay and Chinese which join together to create a MUST-EAT chicken rice when you are in Nilai. The place is visited by all everyone and always crowded during lunch hour. 

The chicken rice is HALAL and only cost RM6.35 (included 6% GST). The chicken can be ordered as half (1/4 of a chicken) or whole (1/2 of a chicken) with a bowl of rice and a small portion of vegetables. The chicken is fried with a crispy outside and juicy inside. The side dish are a combination of different vegetables to balance the soft chicken and crispy vegetables.

The thing that makes this dish unique is the way that the chicken rice is eaten with a curry like broth and not you typical chili sauce. The curry is provided for FREE and sometimes you just be lucky enough to get extra side dishes in your curry.

Bean Sprout Chicken Rice

This chicken rice stall just recently in business and has received very good comments from customers. The stall is located also near the INTI University, Nilai with a lot of customers during breakfast and lunch hour.

The price of bean sprout chicken rice that this stall offers is only RM7.80!! The best thing of this dish is that you will get a medium portion size of chicken and bean sprout that can fill your hunger completely. The chicken is not fried or smoked but steamed to preserved the juiciness of the meat and the original taste of the chicken.

If you are not a fan of bean sprout, you can always ask the seller to exclude it and the price of your meal now will be even cheaper at only RM5.80 !! Now that's a WIN-WIN situation !!

5. MY ZONE CHICKEN RICE RESTAURANT

This is another restaurant that offers bean sprout chicken rice in Nilai. The restaurant is owned by a Chinese but the restaurant is completely free from pork and is certified HALAL. The restaurant will be regularly visited by all races to enjoy the chicken rice offered by the restaurant. 

The price of the bean sprout chicken rice cost RM8.40 (included 6% GST). The thing that make the dish special is the homemade chilli and ginger sauce that comes in two very large container. The chicken is steamed and smear with soy sauce to provide a savoury taste to the chicken. The chilli and ginger sauce are freshly made everyday and very delicious when eaten together with the chicken rice. The light citrus flavour of the chilli sauce open up your appetite and the strong aroma of the ginger sauce boost up the flavour of the chicken rice.

As same as the previous bean sprout chicken rice, you can also exclude the bean sprout and only order the steamed chicken rice for only RM5.90 !!
